C.O.R.E (Court Ordered Recovery & Education) by Empowered is a certified education program built for individuals facing court-mandated requirements related to DUI, DWI offenses, and Anger Management.
Our goal is to make recovery and education more accessible, supportive, and impactful—so participants can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Why Take a DWI Education Class?
If you’ve been convicted of a DUI or DWI, you may be required to complete an education or intervention program as part of your sentence, probation terms, or legal agreement. core by empowered offers certified courses designed to meet these requirements with clarity and confidence.
For First-Time Offenders
Many first-time DWI offenders are asked to complete a 12-hour education course as part of their penalties or in alignment with a plea deal. Our program is structured to guide you through every step of the process with support and accountability.
License Reinstatement
If your license has been suspended or revoked due to a DWI conviction, completing a state-approved education class is often a key part of the reinstatement process. Our course meets all Texas DPS and TDLR requirements.
Court-Ordered Programs
Whether it’s a condition of probation or another legal mandate, our classes are accepted by Texas courts and provide the education you need to meet your legal obligations.

What to Expect from the Course
Choose Your Class Format
Our 12-hour DWI Education Course is offered in two separate formats to fit your needs. Both options are certified by TDLR and accepted by all Texas courts and the DPS.
In-Person Classes
Attend in a classroom setting with live instruction and group interaction. Ideal for those who prefer face-to-face learning and structured environments.
Live Zoom Classes
Join from anywhere via Zoom. These live, instructor-led sessions follow the same schedule and content as in-person classes, with the flexibility of learning remotely.
Each class runs over 3 consecutive days, with 4 hours of instruction per day, totaling the required 12 hours.

This state-approved class is designed to inform, engage, and empower individuals through essential knowledge and practical tools. Here’s what’s covered:
• The history and impact of DWI offenses
• How alcohol and drugs impair driving abilities
• An overview of Texas laws—both criminal and civil—related to DWIs
• Where to find support and resources for change
• Understanding the body’s response to alcohol
• BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration): absorption rates and how to use a BAC calculator

This one-time fee covers all 3 days (12 hours total) of the DWI Education Course.
